I really like the way you explain things. You have a great, relaxed manner! The one thing I would suggest is to modify the links in your description. You mention that we need to add a GA4 Configuration Container and that info about that is in the Google Analytics Link; however, when you go to that video, it takes until 7:25 before you explain how to do this, which is a little frustrating.

This helped me tremendously, Thanks. I have a plugin installed that adds mobile buttons for mobile viewing (these buttons open the default email, sms and call functions on a mobile phone) but when I click on one of the buttons eg. call, sms, or email it does not send any events to GTM. Have you any ideas of how I can find these events or somewhere I can learn more about this type of tracking?

Do I need **both** the google tag manager javascript AND the GA4 javascript? The GA4 docs make it sound like I just need the GTM javascript but practically speaking I think I need both?

I followed the video and the new Google Tag fires correctly, On Google Tag Manager, but in the Google Tag feed it still doesn't activate. Any ideas?

So, do we need to delete all the code that we installed for analytics, ad manager and Tag manager from theme.liquid? Can we do this custom pixel AND keep the Google and youtube channel?

hi there, the GA4 config tag (and others who are suppose to fire in all pages) shouldn't have a differnt trigger? like 'cookie_update'? this can be a bit tricky, at least with OneTrust :| thanks

Or should I add only one tag ? Also why all pages initialisation and not all page as trigger? Waiting to get an answer for this.

Not every video will get the same it depends on how good the video is and also on ur channel smaller channels might get less subscribers because people subscribe if the channel is bigger but still i think yt promotions are worth it if u know what ur doing and won't give up on ur channel everything needs sacrifices but don't overdo it i will try the promotions once i have several good videos on my channel

video is helpful but what about those who want to learn to connect Everything from scratch. As in this video you gave ready made GTM container. if it was Created from Scratch then video can be more helpfull

I can't believe you didn't cover the most important, gigantic elephant in the room: DATA. Does UA data get moved over? Will it just appear? In GA4 can I do a search for data from 4 years ago and it will be there ?????? I've been trying to make UA data available and cannot. I think. The docs are so effing confusing. I don't know where ***MY*** effing data is.

when a GA4 hit is sent before consent granted is established by the user, a hit with G100 is sent to GA4. After consent is granted, hits will have G111 but also a new session ID and device ID. Thats the main difference. Consent mode granted or denied sends almost the same amount of data, ecept session ID and device ID change for every pv, if consent is denied. So my problem still is this one GA4 hit before consent is granted. Because after it is granted, new ID's are generated, which might be bad for KPI's e.g. session/user count. So I guess I still have to make a trigger group, so a hit waits until consent_update to capture the first pageview correctly?

I did this now I get this error and not sure how to fix it: this google tag should have been loaded before the gtag('event') command was called. Use an on-page gtag('config') command or a google tag in tag manage to load AW-xxxx when the page loads

However, now, right below this text, I also see another source: "On-page gtag('config')," which doesn't have a warning next to it. What would you advise to do in that case? Thanks!
